Outer Dowsing Dragon Boat Regatta - October 2025

On 8th October, 60 members of the Outer Dowsing team came together at Wraysbury Skiff & Punt Club on the River Thames, just outside Windsor, for an exhilarating Dragon Boat Regatta that tested teamwork, coordination, and competitive spirit.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Thames, teams paddled in perfect synchronization as drummers kept the rhythm and colleagues cheered from the riverbank. The regatta format brought out friendly rivalry as crews competed head-to-head, with every single paddle stroke counting towards their team's success.

Event Highlights:

Dragon boating proved to be the ultimate team-building challenge – there's no room for passengers when everyone needs to work in perfect harmony to propel the boat forward. The day showcased natural leaders, strategic thinkers, and the power of trust as colleagues relied on each other to keep moving in the same direction.

Between races, the riverside setting provided the perfect opportunity for team members to connect away from the office environment, building relationships and creating shared memories that will strengthen workplace collaboration long after the event.
